Description
We’re looking for a FreeSWITCH Developer with 3–5 years of experience in VoIP, SIP, and Telephony Systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining high-performance telephony solutions using FreeSWITCH, integrating with telecom APIs, and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable communication platforms.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain FreeSWITCH-based voice applications tailored to business and client requirements.
Configure SIP trunks, dial plans, and call routing logic for optimal call quality and performance.
Integrate FreeSWITCH with third-party APIs (e.g., CRM, billing, analytics) and databases.
Troubleshoot and resolve VoIP issues including call quality, latency, jitter, and packet loss.
Collaborate with DevOps and Networking teams to ensure infrastructure reliability and scalability.
Monitor system health and optimize server performance for high availability and low-latency communication.
Stay updated on VoIP and telecommunication trends, and contribute to architectural improvements.
Requirements and Skills
Proven experience in developing and deploying FreeSWITCH solutions (3–5 years).
Strong knowledge of VoIP protocols like SIP, RTP, WebRTC.
Experience with Linux environments and scripting (Bash/Python).
Familiarity with telephony APIs, media gateways, and SIP trunk providers.
Hands-on experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL, Redis, or similar databases.
Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on debugging and optimization.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Experience with Asterisk, Kamailio, or OpenSIPS is a plus.
