Description

We’re looking for a FreeSWITCH Developer with 3–5 years of experience in VoIP, SIP, and Telephony Systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining high-performance telephony solutions using FreeSWITCH, integrating with telecom APIs, and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable communication platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain FreeSWITCH-based voice applications tailored to business and client requirements.
  • Configure SIP trunks, dial plans, and call routing logic for optimal call quality and performance.
  • Integrate FreeSWITCH with third-party APIs (e.g., CRM, billing, analytics) and databases.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve VoIP issues including call quality, latency, jitter, and packet loss.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and Networking teams to ensure infrastructure reliability and scalability.
  • Monitor system health and optimize server performance for high availability and low-latency communication.
  • Stay updated on VoIP and telecommunication trends, and contribute to architectural improvements.

Requirements and Skills

  • Proven experience in developing and deploying FreeSWITCH solutions (3–5 years).
  • Strong knowledge of VoIP protocols like SIP, RTP, WebRTC.
  • Experience with Linux environments and scripting (Bash/Python).
  • Familiarity with telephony APIs, media gateways, and SIP trunk providers.
  • Hands-on experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL, Redis, or similar databases.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on debugging and optimization.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Experience with Asterisk, Kamailio, or OpenSIPS is a plus.
